- The new 15-channel knee coil provides high SNR performance due to phased array technology.
- The array design enables acceleration in all three directions.
- The integrated transmit resonator is in quadrature polarisation for better transmit efficiency.
- It contains an RF shield, thus avoiding signal from the other knee.
- Easy patient access is achieved by a split coil housing.
- The current rules for medical devices prohibit a CE-approval for 7T coils. To compensate for this, RAPID Biomedical runs a medical device compatible testing.
