DESCRIPTION

For experiments on the rat heart, RAPID Biomedical has developed a dedicated rat heart coil. The coil is built into anatomically shaped housing that is optimised for the use with the RAPID rat holder.
Depending on your scanner’s receiver option, the rat heart coil can be delivered as a two or four channel array. Your results will show increased sensitivity, even from the deeper regions of the tissue, e.g. from the back wall of the myocardium.
The rat heart array is compatible with both dedicated animal or whole body scanners to allow pharmacological studies on contrast agents at a field strength of clinical relevance.
