DESCRIPTION

RAPID Biomedical announces a new generation of coils for investigation of rat brains. The coils are designed as phased array coils with two or four receive channels. The coil is built into anatomically shaped housing that is optimised for the use with the RAPID rat holder.

Due to their anatomical shape and the optimized design, the RAPID phased array rat head coils show optimized receive homogeneity and SNR in addition to the opportunity to perform parallel imaging experiments.
